Celebration of DVD release “Another Good Road”

January 7, 2015 — Nashville, TN… Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member John Oates kicks off the New Year with An Evening With John Oates & Special Guests at the City Winery in Nashville. Benefitting the T.J. Martell Foundation, the event will be held Monday, January 26, 2015 and will celebrate the release of his new documentary/concert DVD Another Good Road which is available January 20. All proceeds from the event will benefit the T.J. Martell Foundation.

“I’m honored to be hosting this benefit for T.J. Martell with my friends Brett and Ashley,” said Oates. Please join us for a fun night for a great cause.” Oates will perform songs from Another Good Road, sections from his previous release Good Road To Follow as well as some classic Hall & Oates hits. In addition to the DVD release on January 20, which includes a bonus live CD (PS Records /Warner Elektra), Another Good Road will debut as a TV special on music channel Palladia, Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 9 PM.  Born from Oates’ dedication to American roots music, the captivating special traces the various roads he’s followed in his life, both literally and figuratively.

Special guests for the evening include Warner Brothers’ recording artists Brett Eldredge and Ashley Monroe. CMA New Artist of the Year winner Eldredge is enjoying back-to-back Gold certified singles with “Don’t Ya” and “Beat Of The Music,” the most played song of 2014.

Singer-songwriter Ashley Monroe has been to the top of the charts as a songwriter with #1 hits by Miranda Lambert and Jason Aldean, and as an artist with the release of Annie Up, the critically acclaimed trio Pistol Annies. Monroe is currently in the studio working on the follow up to her 2013 Warner Bros. album Like A Rose; one of the most critically lauded albums of the year. Her latest single “Lonely Tonight, a duet with labelmate Blake Shelton, is nearing the Top 10 on the country radio charts.
