MARCH 27, 2015 (Nashville, TN) – John Oates, Tosha Hill, and Victoria Shaw played the legendary Bluebird Café this week, as part of NSAI’s 23rd Annual Tin Pan South (presented by Regions Bank).
Oates and Hill originally met at a songwriting session, which ultimately led to a performance of their co-written tune “You Let Me Get Away” for NSAI Executive Director Bart Herbison. It was the first opportunity Oates had to meet Shaw.
“I love the discovery aspect of the festival–getting to reconnect with artists I’ve worked with in the past, while also getting to make new friends,” Oates says. Oates is currently on tour through the summer with long-time musical partner Daryl Hall, as the legendary duo Hall & Oates.
